Evidence before assertions
Time-sensitive information is checked against public material from standards bodies, accreditation bodies and other relevant primary sources. Source links and review dates are recorded with each article.
Four kinds of statement
- Requirements: explain the subject of a requirement in original language and refer to the official standard.
- Guidance: identify the issuing organisation and its scope.
- Implementation suggestions: describe a possible approach, not a mandatory method.
- Industry practice: distinguish common practice from a universal obligation.
Review and corrections
Dates record the page’s publication and most recent review. Material changes should update the review date and retain a clear source record. A review date does not guarantee that external guidance has remained unchanged.
Editorial independence
No affiliation with ISO, accreditation organisations or certification bodies is implied. The site does not invent experts, qualifications, testimonials or review boards. Any future sponsorship or affiliate relationship must be disclosed where it is relevant.
